Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist travel contract in Nogales, AZ. Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in an acute care hospital. Requires Master's in SLP, CFY, CCC from ASHA, and active AZ SLP license. 5x8 schedule, 40 hours per week, with benefits including housing and licensure reimbursement. Travel clinician supports interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care; EHR experience preferred; duties include evaluations and interventions for communication, cognition, and swallowing in hospitalized patients.
Required Qualifications
- Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Arizona State SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with instrumental and bedside swallowing evaluations preferred.
