Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
SLP assignment in Wichita, KS at a skilled nursing facility providing evidence-based speech-language pathology services to adults in a post-acute setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with nursing and rehabilitation teams, and supporting safe discharge planning. Requires Master’s degree in SLP, CFY with CCC from ASHA, and active Kansas SLP license; BLS may be required. Travel/assignment details include 5 days per week with 32 hours guaranteed, potential float to nearby facilities, and benefits for travelers (housing, travel and license reimbursement, full medical, 401(k) matching, recruiter support). Preferred candidates have experience with dysphagia, tracheostomy/ventilator-related communication, cognitive-communication interventions, and prior travel therapy or EMR experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Kansas SLP license
- BLS certification may be required
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Experience managing dysphagia evaluations and treatment, tracheostomy and ventilator-related communication, and cognitive-communication interventions preferred
