Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist – Travel Contract in a hospital setting in Douglasville, GA. Responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized plans of care for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing, in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include treatment planning, documentation, patient and family education, discharge planning, and participation in departmental/professional development activities. Shift 08:00–17:00, five-day week; no call, holidays, or weekends. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state license required to start the assignment
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required upon hire
- Experience providing evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia in an acute care or hospital-based rehab environment preferred
- Demonstrated skills in documentation of evaluations, plans of care, and treatment sessions according to facility protocols
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
