Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. Requires Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY completion, CCC from ASHA, and SD licensure (or ability to obtain). BLS may be required. Experience with dysphagia and MBS preferred; EMR documentation experience preferred. Assignment offers travel contracts with housing and license reimbursement; options include direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel contracts. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active South Dakota state license or ability to obtain state license prior to assignment start
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC, if required by facility
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility environments preferred
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and management and modified barium swallow (MBS) familiarity preferred
- Ability to manage caseload documentation using electronic medical records preferred
