Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide high-quality speech-language pathology services in a skilled nursing facility, supporting patients with communication and swallowing disorders through comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and payer guidelines while working shifts from 0800–1630, Monday through Saturday, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36. You may be required to float to other facilities as needed. This assignment is based in Willows, CA, offering access to outdoor recreation and a small-town lifestyle.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings
- Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
- Prior travel SLP experience
- Familiarity with common SNF documentation systems and Medicare/Medicaid documentation standards
