Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist travel contract in Home Health setting. Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on a 13-week assignment serving Walla Walla County with travel into nearby counties; part of an interdisciplinary team under a geographic manager. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY and CCC from ASHA, and active WA license to start (OR licensure obtainable during assignment). Prior Home Health SLP experience (at least 12 months in past 3 years) and familiarity with HCHB EMR are preferred; BLS certification may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Washington state SLP license required to start the assignment
- Oregon state license required or ability to obtain Oregon licensure while on assignment
- Minimum 12 months of Home Health SLP experience within the past 3 years
- Experience with HCHB EMR is preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required
