Job Summary
Traveling Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a hospital setting (Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care) based in Hilo, HI. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY with CCC-ASHA, and an active Hawaii license. BLS certification, minimum 2 years’ clinical experience, and proven proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) are required, with experience using Meditech documentation (inpatient) and Epic in the facility. Assignment involves days with potential weekend coverage, opportunities to float within facility units, and a travel contract format with 100% paid housing, travel/license reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. Eligible candidates will join Jackson Therapy Partners and may select from direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel contract options. EEO/AA employer.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active Hawaii state license in Speech-Language Pathology required by assignment start
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Independent, proficient completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) in radiology without supervision required
- Experience with Meditech documentation for inpatient care and paper-based outpatient documentation preferred
