Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. Manage caseloads, document per state and facility guidelines, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Experience with dysphagia assessment and instrumental assessment familiarity (FEES or MBS) is preferred. This assignment is located in Modesto, CA, with a days shift. The role offers weekly pay, full medical benefits, 401(k) matching, and 100% paid housing. A Master's degree, completed Clinical Fellowship Year, and active California SLP license are required to start.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment
