Job Summary
Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. Conduct instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBSS for dysphagia management. Document cases electronically using EHR systems. This assignment requires a Master's degree, completed Clinical Fellowship Year, and an active California SLP license. BLS certification is preferred. The role offers flexible contract options including direct hire and temp-to-hire arrangements with 100% paid housing and travel reimbursement available from day one.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities
- Experience with dysphagia management
- Experience with instrumental assessments (FEES or MBSS)
- Experience with EHR systems
