Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist assignment in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Belen, NM. Provide SLP services to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress to support patient outcomes and discharge planning. Role includes potential to float to nearby facilities, a Monday–Friday schedule (0800-1630), 35 guaranteed hours per week, and a benefits package starting day one including housing and license reimbursement. Preference for experience with dysphagia evaluation/treatment (including MBS), electronic medical records usage in SNFs, and prior travel/contract SLP experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active New Mexico SLP license is required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
