Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist to join a skilled nursing facility team in Potosi, MO. Provide assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders, lead the rehab team, oversee PDPM compliance, develop rehabilitation programs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include identifying and addressing department scheduling needs, attending facility meetings, and providing leadership to the rehab team. Requires Master’s in SLP, CFY with CCC-SLP, MO or Compact licensure, and at least 1 year of SLP experience; leadership experience preferred. Times are eight hours daily, Monday to Friday, with start time preferences before 6:00 AM and no later than 10:00 AM; weekends not required. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active Missouri state license or Compact state license
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience; new graduates not accepted for this position
- Experience in a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility or long-term care rehab setting
- Knowledge of PDPM
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
