Job Summary
Conduct speech therapy for patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting, with a focus on critical care environments. Provide days shifts in Arlington, TX, including rotating weekend coverage of approximately two days per four-week period. Maintain an active Texas State License and complete any required BLS certification. Float within the hospital as needed to support diverse clinical needs. This assignment offers full-time pay, weekly on-time compensation, and 100% paid housing for travelers.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Texas State License
- ability to obtain Texas State License prior to start of assignment
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
- prior hospital experience
- Must be available for rotating weekend coverage (approximately 2 weekend days per 4-week scheduling period)
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hospital-based SLP experience
- Experience with speech therapy for patients in critical care settings
- Former experience working in an HCA facility
