Job Summary
Travel Therapy: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a Fargo, ND skilled nursing facility. Provide clinical expertise for geriatric patients addressing communication and swallowing disorders, including dysphagia management and cognitive-communication interventions. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress using facility systems, meet a productivity standard (85%), and participate in travel benefits including housing and license reimbursement. Shift pattern is 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, totaling 36 hours per week with start in December; includes mileage/travel considerations and 14-day cancellation/minimum notice requirements. Requires ASHA CFY/CCC, active ND license, and BLS; experience in SNF/long-term care preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state SLP license required to start the assignment in North Dakota
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
