Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist - Travel Contract in Freehold, NJ responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with nursing and rehabilitation staff to ensure safety, function, and quality of life. Role requires CFY/CCC, NJ licensure or eligibility, and BLS; assignments involve five 8-hour shifts with travel and license reimbursement included.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and CCC from ASHA
- Active New Jersey state license or ability to obtain licensure prior to assignment start
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, if required by facility
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care environments preferred
- Preferred: experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment
- Familiarity with EMRs in SNF settings
- Experience providing services to geriatric populations
