Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide evaluations and evidence-based interventions for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting while traveling to Lewistown, MO and Canton, MO. Develop and adjust plans of care, document progress and treatment minutes, supervise CFY or student SLPs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain ASHA membership and state licensure, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Assignment features 35 guaranteed work week with 8-hour days, start before 6:00 AM and no later than 10:00 AM, and travel accommodations including 100% paid housing and travel/license reimbursement. Location-focused details highlight Lewistown and the surrounding Missouri area; roles involve in-person clinical duties in LTC settings. Maintains professional ethics and BLS as required; EEO statement accessible.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Level II clinical experience or documented equivalent
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Missouri state license or compact licensure
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience; LTC/skilled nursing/rehab experience preferred
- Ability to perform standardized assessments and document treatment minutes in EMR
- Ability to supervise CFY or student SLPs
- BLS certification may be required
- Experience with dysphagia assessment preferred
- ASHA and state practice acts adherence
