Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services treating communication and swallowing disorders across inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient settings. Deliver care for clients with CVA, Parkinson's, oncology-related deficits, debility, cognitive impairment, and dysphagia, with mandatory competency in MBSS. Provide therapy on a 13-week contract with standard 40-hour days from Monday through Friday, 08:00–17:00, at a 15-bed short-term sub-acute rehab unit in Milledgeville, GA. Float to outpatient when needed with advance notice. A recruiter will contact you with additional details regarding application and next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- Active Georgia state license
- Competency treating CVA, Parkinson's, oncology-related deficits, debility, cognitive impairment, and dysphagia
- Experience with MBSS
Desired Qualifications
- Clients will consider a CFY/BL when relevant experience is documented
- Candidates already licensed in GA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience with VitalStim and LSVT LOUD
