Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist position with Jackson Therapy Partners providing SLP services to adults in skilled nursing facilities. The role focuses on evaluating and treating dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and language disorders, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans. Requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY, CCC from ASHA, RI state licensure to start, and BLS. Preferred qualifications include prior travel SLP experience, EMR documentation experience, and additional certifications (e.g., LSVT, VitalStim). Shift is 08:00–16:30, 5 shifts/week (35 hours guaranteed; client may offer 30 or 35 GH), with potential to float to other facilities. Required Qualifications
- Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Rhode Island state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Ability to provide skilled SLP services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and language disorders in an adult population preferred
