Job Summary
Conduct dysphagia management and therapy for adult populations in skilled nursing facilities within Westernport, MD. Provide communication and swallowing disorder treatment while maintaining active Maryland state licensure and a Certificate of Clinical Competence. Float to other facilities as required by the client. This assignment supports recovery, discharge planning, and functional communication for patients in skilled nursing care. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Maryland state license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings
Desired Qualifications
- Prior travel SLP experience
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation plans of care
