Job Summary
Provide speech-language pathology services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders in outpatient settings, including home visits, community events, and remote locations. Deliver one full-time equivalent of clinical care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional multi-day travel to remote areas by boat or plane. Maintain an active state license and ensure flu vaccination compliance while supporting pediatric populations. This assignment places you in Sitka, Alaska, where coastal living and outdoor recreation offer a walkable small-town lifestyle with access to marine adventure and national historical parks.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License
- Alaska license
- Flu vaccine
- Pediatrics experience
- Outpatient experience
Desired Qualifications
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
