Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services in Albany, OR. Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, swallowing disorders; develop and implement individualized therapy plans; provide direct therapy for articulation, language, social communication, and fluency; participate in IEP meetings; collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents; maintain documentation in compliance with standards; provide consultation to teachers and staff; stay updated on best practices through professional development; roles vary by state/district requirements. Requires Master’s degree in SLP, state licensure, and CCC or eligibility; pediatric experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the state where you are applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
