Job Summary
School-based Speech-Language Pathologist providing assessment and therapy services to students. Responsibilities include conducting assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders; developing and implementing individualized therapy plans; providing direct therapy to address articulation, language, social communication, and fluency; participating in IEP meetings; collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals; maintaining accurate documentation; providing consultation to teachers and families; and staying current with best practices through continuing education. Requires master's degree in SLP, state licensure, and CCC or eligibility; remote/onsite/hybrid options may be available depending on district needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the state where you are applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
