Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed for school-based settings. Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students; develop and implement individualized therapy plans; provide direct therapy to improve articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and fluency; participate in IEP meetings; collaborate with educators and parents; maintain compliant documentation; provide consultation to teachers and staff; stay current with best practices through professional development. Role supports collaboration, student-centered services, and flexible scheduling; options include full-time onsite, part-time, on-site, hybrid, or remote roles depending on district needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the state where you are applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
- Some states may also require a school-specific credential such as a Washington ESA certificate
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
