Job Summary
Provide school-based speech-language pathology services including conducting assessments of speech, language, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders; develop and implement individualized therapy plans; provide direct therapy to students; participate in IEP meetings; collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals; maintain comprehensive documentation; provide consultation to teachers and staff; stay current with best practices through professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the state where applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
