Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for school-based services, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, onsite, hybrid, or remote work. Responsibilities include conducting assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders; developing and implementing individualized therapy plans; delivering direct therapy to students; participating in IEP meetings; collaborating with teachers and families; maintaining documentation compliant with regulatory standards; providing consultation to educators, staff, and parents; staying updated on best practices in the field. Requires state licensure, Master’s degree in SLP, and CCC or eligibility, with potential multi-state licensure for remote roles; experience with pediatric populations preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the state where you are applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
