Job Summary
School-based Speech-Language Pathologist providing direct and consultative services in a district setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments of speech, language, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders; developing and implementing individualized therapy plans; delivering direct therapy to students; participating in IEP meetings; collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals; maintaining accurate documentation to regulatory standards; providing consultation on strategies to support students with communication needs; staying current with best practices through professional development; role may vary by state/district requirements. The role offers W2 employment with weekly pay, potential 12-month salaried pay, full benefits, and flexible scheduling within a hybrid in-person/remote model.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license in the state where you are applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
