Job Summary
Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students; develop and implement individualized therapy plans; provide direct therapy focusing on articulation, language, social communication, and fluency; participate in IEP meetings; collaborate with educators and parents; maintain compliant documentation; provide strategies and consultation to teachers and staff; stay current with best practices and pursue ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the applying state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- If working in a state different from residence, must hold a license in both states (where living and where applying)
