Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services (K-3) in Mesa, AZ. Responsibility includes conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, providing direct therapy to students, collaborating with teachers/parents, participating in IEP meetings, maintaining documentation, providing consultation to staff, and staying current with best practices. Requires Master’s in SLP, active state license, AZ IVP card, and ASHA CCC (or eligibility); experience with pediatric populations and collaborative, student-centered approach highly valued. W2 employment with weekly pay; 12-month salaried option; full benefits; flexible scheduling; strong support from leadership and team.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license in the state where you are applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
Additional Requirements
- AZ IVP Card required
- Must be licensed in Arizona to practice in the school setting
- Eligibility for CCC or CCC certification preferred
