Job Summary
Provide school-based speech-language pathology services to students, conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, provide direct therapy, participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators and families, maintain accurate documentation, and stay current with best practices in the field. Role emphasizes collaboration, student-centered services, and flexible scheduling within a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license
- CCC from ASHA or eligibility for CCC
- SLPs applying to work in states they do not reside in must hold a state license in both the state where they live and the state where they are applying
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility for CCC
- State licensure in both the state of residence and the state of application (if applicable)
- Experience with pediatric populations (preferred)
