Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow) in a school-based setting provides comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, fluency, and social-communication skills; develops individualized treatment plans; delivers direct intervention services to students with diverse communication disorders; collaborates with educators to integrate speech-language goals into the curriculum; educates and empowers students, families, and caregivers on techniques to improve communication; maintains accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program and Illinois licensure or eligibility, plus Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) eligibility. Location: Joliet, Illinois. Compensation: Up to $60/hour, and all employees are hired as W2 with benefits. This role supports pediatric therapy, CF mentorship, and opportunities for ongoing professional development within Therapy Care’s mentoring program.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility
