Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist at Therapy Care join our team to evaluate and treat students with speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs. Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct SLP services in educational settings, collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams, integrate goals into classrooms, and educate families. Includes a CF program, structured mentorship, ongoing development opportunities, W-2 employment with benefits, and compensation up to $60/hour based on experience and client placement. Requires Master’s in SLP from an ASHA-accredited program and Illinois licensure eligibility, with PEL eligibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to collaboration and evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collaboration, lifelong learning, and evidence-based practice
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
- Integrate communication goals into educational programming and classroom activities
- Educate and support students, families, and caregivers regarding communication development and intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, treatment plans, and service records
- Compensation details: up to $60 per hour, W-2 employment, benefits package
