Job Summary

Conduct direct therapy sessions, perform evaluations, develop IEP plans, and manage cases for PreK–8 students in a school setting. Provide consultation to interdisciplinary teams, educators, and parents while maintaining documentation and administrative planning within guaranteed hours. Collaborate with district and TheraPeds support to deliver high-quality services aligned with IDEA requirements. This full-time role offers a manageable caseload with bi-monthly deposits, professional development opportunities, and a supportive network within the TheraPeds community.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Experience working with children
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
  • Physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities

Desired Qualifications

  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
