Job Summary
Conduct direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, and case management for PreK–2 students at a single school in Centreville, MD. Develop IEP plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including educators and parents. Manage caseloads with guaranteed hours that include documentation, administrative, and planning time. Perform necessary physical movements such as lifting, sitting, and engaging with students in various locations. Requires a Master's or PhD, state license, and ASHA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
- National License: ASHA
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Experience working with children
- Proficient in use of technology
Desired Qualifications
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
