Job Summary
Conduct direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, and case management for PreK–12 students while developing IEP plans and evaluating progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educators, and parents to support students with special needs. Manage caseloads with guaranteed hours including documentation, administrative, and planning time. Work on-site in Anchorage, AK, with dual support from the District and TheraPeds.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
- National License: ASHA
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- Experience working with children
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
- Proficient in use of technology
Desired Qualifications
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
