Job Summary
Conduct direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, and case management for PreK–12 students in a school-based setting. Develop IEP plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including educators and parents. Manage caseloads while dedicating time to documentation, administrative tasks, and planning. This part-time, on-site role offers guaranteed hours from August 2026 through May/June 2027 with a manageable caseload and dual support from the District and TheraPeds.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
- National License: ASHA
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Experience working with children
- Proficient in use of technology
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
- Physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities
Desired Qualifications
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
