Job Summary
Provide individualized therapy to children and adults with communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs while developing strong relationships with patients and families. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation and reporting. Begin with a 32-hour schedule, with potential expansion to 40 hours depending on preferences. Adjust therapy plans dynamically based on individual client growth and needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
- Completion of clinical affiliation and national exam
- Washington State SLP License
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3 years of clinical experience
- Certifications in SpeakOUT and/or LSVT
- Trained in Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) (Vital stim/amp care)
- Familiarity with high-quality AAC intervention strategies
- Experience across a diverse range of clinical presentations
- Specialty certifications such as MPSImP, or board certifications in neurogenic communication disorders, voice, or swallowing
