Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary
Provide pediatric speech-language therapy in accordance with evidence-based practice and clinic guidelines, completing evaluations, re-evaluations, and reassessments in a timely manner. Develop individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and deliver patient care within scope of practice. Educate and communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members while assessing learning needs to provide appropriate instruction. Document evaluations, daily notes, and patient progress accurately in the EMR. Participate in staff development, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and attend required meetings and trainings. Support quality improvement and clinic initiatives as needed. This role offers flexible scheduling, including a 4-day workweek, with opportunities for clinical mentorship and specialization in areas such as feeding, AAC, and early intervention.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility)
- Ability to arrive to assigned locations on time and maintain regular, reliable attendance
- Ability to work scheduled hours
- Meticulous attention to detail over the course of the workday
- Ability to sustain physical and mental activity throughout a scheduled workday
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally charged or high-stimulation environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to maintain prolonged standing or sitting
- Ability to maintain required licensure, certifications, and eligibility to work in the United States throughout employment
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate professionally with clinical and administrative teams
- Commitment to ethical, family-centered care
- Bilingual preferred but not required
