Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal function, cognitive or communicative impairments. Performs therapy interventions using standard techniques; educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans; maintains clinical records and contributes to performance improvement efforts; assists with discharge planning and provides information about support programs. Position requires frequent physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs in various combinations; work is performed in a clinical hospital setting with day shift duties for the Madison, WI location. Education required: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Wisconsin (and eligibility/licensure in IL, MO, OK as applicable) with Basic Life Support certification within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Wisconsin (and eligible or licensed in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma)
- Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider) certification within 90 days of employment
