Job Summary
Evaluate assigned patients to establish treatment goals and programs, providing ongoing status assessments to maximize outcomes. Develop comprehensive goals and coordinate treatment with other clinical services while attending meetings to facilitate care. Deliver patient education by creating progressive home programs and instructing families and caregivers. Prepare for discharge by ordering necessary equipment and recommendations, and evaluate patients in actual or simulated home, school, work, or community environments. Work 8am-4:30pm, M-F in our outpatient rehabilitation program serving individuals recovering from traumatic injury or illness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
