Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed to join a team in a 5–person SLP group serving students aged 5–21 in a special education school setting. Responsibilities include providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy, evaluating and treating speech, language, social/cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders, developing individual and group therapy goals with an interdisciplinary team, creating mealtime plans for health and safety, documenting outcomes, supervising CFY candidates and students, utilizing assistive communication devices, maintaining therapy spaces, and participating in professional development. Qualifications include NYS Certification in Speech and Language Pathology, strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to assist with physical interventions and driving duties. The role supports a 10-month school calendar with optional additional summer sessions; department collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families is emphasized in a supportive school environment.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
