Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist position focusing on pediatric evaluations and treatment across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory care settings. Responsibilities include conducting expressive/receptive communication and feeding assessments, developing goals and plans of care, providing intervention, coordinating care with families and the multidisciplinary team, maintaining thorough documentation, and ensuring timely, outcomes-oriented care. Requires collaboration with caregivers and other healthcare professionals, adherence to department policies, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, pediatric experience (internship or equivalent), optional clinical fellowship experience for craniofacial populations, BLS certification, ASHA CCC eligibility/credentialing within 1 year, and potential for temporary licensure at hire. Open to candidates with current or pending state licensure and a focus on evidence-based practice in pediatric communication and/or feeding disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology (Required)
- Experience working with pediatric patients or a pediatric clinical internship (Preferred)
- If working with craniofacial population, completion of a clinical fellowship year within craniofacial anomalies or at least 5 years clinical experience with craniofacial speech and language disorders (Required)
- Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS) current; Speech Pathologist temporary license acceptable if still in clinical fellowship year (Required); Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA within 1 year (Required); ACPA membership within 90 days (Required)
