Job Summary
Conduct Spanish/English bilingual speech-language pathology evaluations and treatment sessions for children in natural environments. Implement coaching models with parent education to support families in routines, adhering to ASHA standards and state licensure requirements. Manage scheduling, documentation, and communication with care teams while maintaining promptness across visits. Work within a collaborative clinic setting offering flexible scheduling and a supportive team focused on pediatric development.
Required Qualifications
- Must be on track to earn a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must hold ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Must be eligible for North Carolina licensure
- Must be Spanish/English Bilingual
- Must adhere to professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Must adhere to state and federal laws and regulations
- Must possess a passion for working with diverse socioeconomic populations
- Must be able to implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education
- Must possess a desire to work with children and families
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to collaborate with a supportive team of therapists
- Must maintain promptness to all visits
- Must communicate with all members of a child's care team when there is a change in schedule
