Job Summary
Diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across all age groups by conducting thorough evaluations, designing treatment plans, and utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance communication skills. Assess physician referrals, patient conditions, and medical histories to determine therapy needs, then administer prescribed treatments tailored to individual patient requirements. Develop rehabilitative programs addressing verbal, written language, voice articulation, fluency, and swallowing while educating patients, families, and caregivers on home therapeutic procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to adjust goals and participate in patient care conferences. Schedule: 24 weekly hours, Days.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of current practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- BLS Basic Life Support (BLS)
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) (required within one year)
- BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days for BSMH)
- BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for RSFH)
