Job Summary
Screening, evaluating, and treating facility patients/residents needing Speech Language Pathology services; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; supervise speech therapy staff and provide staff training; participate in interdisciplinary and family meetings; maintain confidentiality and accurate billing/documentation; adhere to Rehabilitation department policies and procedures and participate in continuing education to support professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- competency in therapy treatment and evaluation principles, techniques, materials, and equipment utilization
- knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards
