Job Summary
Deliver speech and language services to students with IEPs using a classroom integration model, implementing and monitoring individualized communication goals through data-driven instruction. Coach classroom staff and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants on goal implementation while writing, attending, and coordinating IEP meetings. Evaluate students for speech and language needs, ensure paperwork compliance, and participate in ongoing staff training and annual professional development. Provide supervision for SLPA implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis strategies where caseload numbers allow. Maintain consistent attendance and proactive communication with students and families.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card
- Minimum of two years of SLP experience in a school setting
- Experience delivering services in a school setting, in a classroom integration model
- Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License
- Master's Degree or higher
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school of speech-language pathology
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering services in a school setting, in a classroom integration model
- Minimum of two years of SLP experience in a school setting preferred
- Experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
- SLP-CCC Preferred
