Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations, develop individualized therapy treatment plans, and document resident progress accurately. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families to support care planning and PDPM processes while mentoring SLP assistants. Assess residents with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders to improve their safety and quality of life. This role supports a respectful, patient-centered environment for experienced therapists and new graduates, offering paid training, CEU assistance, and optional on-call opportunities at nearby facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Knowledge of PDPM, Medicare, and skilled nursing facility regulations
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
