Job Summary
Conduct full range of speech-language pathology services including assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Evaluate patients using clinical assessments, standardized tests, and interviews to identify specific needs, then develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals. Provide therapy to improve communication skills, articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing abilities while educating patients and families on disorder nature and daily life strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requires current state SLP licensure, CCC-SLP certification, and CPR; involves travel of less than 10% during a six-month blue-badge training period.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree
- 0-1 years
- Must have and maintain a current, valid state SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Current valid CPR certification
