Job Summary
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders; develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals; provide direct therapy services, consultation, and classroom support; collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams; participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations; document student progress and maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SLP license in the state of practice (CFY candidates welcome; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred). Position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth in a school-based setting in Athens, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome!
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, not required
