Job Summary
Conduct home visits to adult and geriatric clients in designated territories to perform thorough evaluations for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. Develop and continuously revise treatment plans based on physician orders and multidisciplinary care input. Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living. Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Requires a current North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license and American Speech and Hearing Association certificate of clinical competence.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association
Desired Qualifications
- Solid computer skills
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
