Job Summary
Per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing home health visits to adult and geriatric patients across Lexington, Denton, and Winston-Salem, NC. Responsibilities include performing evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders; developing, implementing, and revising individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and goals; educating patients and families on rehabilitative care; and documenting observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet EMR. Requires NC SLP licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification. Strong computer skills and EMR experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
