Job Summary
SLP to screen, evaluate, and treat patients in a SNF setting. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations with appropriate tools, reviewing patient records, establishing measurable goals, and developing treatment plans to move patients toward maximum independence. Supervises CFYs, speech interns, and rehab techs in direct patient care and related activities per state practice act. Requires CCC-SLP, CFY supervision, and current state licensure; strong communication with patients and families; ability to perform duties with or without accommodations. Part-time role at Pivot Rehabilitation in Alvin, TX, with on-site duties and in-person patient care, leveraging ASHA guidelines and clinical supervision to deliver evidence-based therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association
- A Speech-Language Pathologist completing Clinical Fellowship (CF) with appropriate supervision from a certified and licensed SLP
- Current state license in the state of practice
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
